It came to me like Albert Einstein's "eureka!" in the days before my cousins baby shower and minutes after my husband's podcast interview. 
 
I'm a crafty person, so I usually hand make my gifts and products. Naturally, being a web designer I felt an urge to build a website for my cousin, but she didn't need one for a purpose I could think of at the time. So I decided to make her something else.
 
Later, my husband was telling me about who he interviewed for his podcast and explaining her business to me; she turns precious family photographs into home videos, "how incredibly unique" I thought. This story, mixed with baby-thoughts and web design, somehow triggered the "eureka!" moment; Baby's Digital Time Capsule.
 
Time capsules were a part of everyone's childhood where I was raised. At a very young age, my best friend and I gathered our favourite items, I mean absolute favourite items (my beloved beanie baby ‘Whiskers’), strip polaroids, and a hand written note from my mom, placed them into a time capsule and buried it in the park next to my mom's house. Today, that park is now someone's house, and my time capsule is buried right under their asphalt driveway.
 
At a later time, my mother decided to get a tin-can time capsule (like the large popcorn tins) to be kept in storage. This was filled with many memories, but was tragically lost in a house fire. 
 
Times have changed, and so have time capsules.
